Bear Necessities is walking distance (about a mile) to McLane Stadium along the Brazos River and about the same distance to the new Foster Pavilion. The house is one block from Elm street and new eateries and shopping opening in 2023.

Guest Access

Guest will have access to the entire home except for one locked supply closet.

Good to know

The kitchen is fully equipped. Microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, blender, toaster, Keurig Duo and drip coffee maker, cooking basics, dishware/flatware, basic pantry items and a dining table with seating for 6. We supply a limited amount of k-cups, sweeteners and creamers. The master bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed and an adjustable office desk with a comfortable chair. The master bath has a large walk in shower. Our other queen bed and both twin beds are very comfortable. We provide luggage racks in all three bedrooms. The queen and twin bedrooms share bathroom with a tub/shower combination. We furnish body soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels including makeup removal towels.

D&L Vacation Rentals knows how to do it right! The house was great, peaceful, and provided a great respite after long days around Waco. The house is so convenient not only to downtown via the walking bride or car, but also around the corner from the Saturday outdoor farmer’s market. The hosts were exceptional -would not hesitate to stay at any of their vast selection of properties.

Jessica was a great host, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Their place was everything we wanted and needed, really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and patio. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful place, it's an adorable small cottage and has a story book feel. The home is charming, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished. It was very well stocked with all the necessary items, especially in the kitchen, which made our stay comfortable and convenient. Overall, it felt warm, welcoming, and being close to Baylor was great as we were visiting our student. There was some unexpected road work right outside the house that was loud and disruptive, but the host was extremely accommodating and responsive, and promptly moved us to another nearby property they host. Their responsiveness and care really made a difference and showed a genuine commitment to guest comfort.

This was such a cute house. It was very clean and I loved the location! Close to everything downtown and Baylor. I really liked that we were on the west side of the expressway so the only time I had to drive that area was to get to Baylor. All the restaurants and the Silos and downtown were on the same side of the expressway as the house. I also really like when an Air B&B has some decorations…..just the right amount to make it feel like home but not too much so it feels cluttered. Loved that all the bedrooms and living room had ceiling fans and lamps. It was a cozy and comfortable place to stay!
