The Plain Jane & D&L Rentals did an excellent job hosting us for my daughter’s inaugural white coat ceremony for the 2027 Baylor PA class. It was supposed to be a quick trip but record snowfall in NC caused our flights to be cancelled. I reached out to see what options I had - extended checkout, early checkout or additional days and D&L responded within minutes, multiple times in a fluid situation & were quite understanding & flexible with us. They took the worry out of a stressful situation as we were figuring out rental cars/flight rebookings.
The home has nostalgia from the Fixer Upper show that was fun to experience. Very clean, excellent amenities- had to buy very little staples, gated back yard and parking was a nice safety feature and just an overall cozy feeling home. As a property manager myself I was pleasantly surprised to see faucets dripping & cabinet doors open when we first arrived in cold weather-a nice sign the PM’s take care of the property. We will be back!

We were excited to stay at this unique home and it truly exceeded our expectations. It was centrally located, beautifully appointed, and the backyard was lovely and private. The inside of the home was a designer’s dream and the amenities were outstanding. The home was cozy and provided us a perfect place to ring in the New Year. The property managers were also amazing, giving us clear instructions for arrival and departure as well as providing information about the home and local attractions. They were responsive and kind. We would highly recommend this home if you are planning to visit Waco, TX.

Everything exceeded expectations, including how wonderfully accommodating and responsive the hosts are.
The location is convenient to many other places in Waco and the home was a wonderful peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Beautifully decorated, spotless, and flows well for a group; we had 3 adults and it was perfect. I am excited to come back in the future and highly recommend staying here.

We spent a wonderful long weekend here celebrating my daughter’s 30th birthday. The house is beautifully maintained and spotless, with comfy beds and well-stocked bathrooms. The kitchen was perfect for entertaining—with a large fridge, Keurig, and a spacious island we decorated for the party. The laundry room setup was great, and the washer/dryer worked like a charm. Be sure to read the sweet notes and leave one too! Hosts very responsive and kind. We watched the Season 5, Episode 8 of Fixer Upper while we were at the house to have the whole Fixer Upper experience. :) You should stay here when you're in Waco! Definitely recommend and we will be back!!
