Oso Condo - Walk To The Silos

Our condo in the historic Behrens building, and just a short walk from Magnolia Market, Dr. pepper Museum, Waco Suspension Bridge and only a mile from Baylor’s campus. The building was built by the Clifton family for the Behrens Drug Company in 1913. It was a fire-proof, concrete structure constructed to provide ample working space for employees and to keep them safe. In the 1990s it was converted to loft living spaces.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was perfect and communications from the host couldn’t have been better. Restaurants and things to do were in short walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the central location of the loft, in the middle of downtown. Walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, Magnolia, Dr Pepper museum, Farmers market etc etc. We loved the lift itself too. We came without kids and I must say I would prefer it also for 2 but you can use the sofa for a bed. It is 1 open space though with the bathroom in the middle. If you want to go to bed early, the ear plugs are needed. Music from the bars around can be loud. Maybe this is only on Saturday & Friday, our nights. Quality kitchen, bathroom & bed. Happy to come again when I visit Waco!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Everything is just as listed. We were able to cook dinner the first night in the beautiful kitchen and the second night we walked to Pignetti’s (highly recommend). The hosts are very thoughtful and available if needed. We hope to stay here again soon!
