Oso Condo - Walk To The Silos
Our condo in the historic Behrens building, and just a short walk from Magnolia Market, Dr. pepper Museum, Waco Suspension Bridge and only a mile from Baylor’s campus. The building was built by the Clifton family for the Behrens Drug Company in 1913. It was a fire-proof, concrete structure constructed to provide ample working space for employees and to keep them safe. In the 1990s it was converted to loft living spaces.

We are three blocks to Magnolia Market. One block to Spice Village. Across the street from Dr Pepper Museum. Upstairs from Fabled Book Shop and Cafe and numerous restaurants within walking distance. Two blocks from the downtown Waco Farmer's Market on Saturdays. Less than 1 mile to Baylor University. We also are only 15 minutes to BSR Cable Park & Homestead Heritage. If you are bringing the kids, we highly recommend Mayborn Museum Complex, Cameron Park Zoo and Waco Mammoth National Monument. Condominiums have potential for noise. There is a train track two blocks away and at times you may hear outdoor concerts .This is generally a quiet area. White noise machine located by the bed.

Guests have access to entire condo with the exception of 1 locked closet.
Good to know
The condo is located in downtown Waco and within walking distance of The Silo District and some of the best restaurants & shopping Waco has to offer. If you are interested in activities around Baylor University like McLane Stadium, Texas Ranger Hall Of Fame & Museum, Texas Sports Hall Of Fame, you can take the shuttle that picks up just two blocks from the building. If you are bringing children, we highly recommend the Mayborn Museum or the Cameron Park Zoo. Our condo has most everything you would have at your own home. A fully stocked kitchen, coffee makers, new appliances, comfortable bed, sleeper sofa, cozy living space and a great view of the Silos. Occupancy Certificate License: STR000613-03-2021
Other Details to Note
A ramp at the back of the building makes for easy access and there are two elevators inside the building. Smart TV in living area with streaming apps. Step out balcony. sofa bed in the living room. This is a downtown location. Occasionally you will hear the train two blocks away and other noises associated with a downtown area. Must be 21 or older to book.

Silo District Trolley is free and runs every 15 minutes. The trolley’s route makes it easy to get to and from Magnolia Market, and also provides access to other popular shopping, dining and art venues in the downtown area. The "4th and Franklin" trolley stop is super close. Just exit the building, turn left on 4th St. and walk 1 block to Franklin St.
