The guesthouse and cabin (a separate rental) share a one acre parcel on our Homestead.

Good to know

Our guest house is located on a small 4.5 acre homestead. Since it was fully remodeled in 2017, our family has been enjoying its very cute "Chip & Joanna" style. Now we are so excited to share it with others! You can choose to enjoy the home's indoor amenities only or you can get outside! ***Game Room-Just outside the house through a breezeway is our Game room, complete with a Ping-Pong table, plenty of games and a collection of books.

Wonderful home and surroundings. Plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and clean home overall. Nice kitchen with expected utensils, flatware, etc. The yard is spacious and accessible with easy parking. The detached game room was a bonus. We only played table tennis, but there were two other rooms of games and toys, mostly geared for young kids. The surrounds are serene and a short walk down the road leads to a pet pig, goats, and a pair of emus. Lovely, relaxing stay for our family of five.

This house was the perfect size and in the best location for our group of 8 older teens and adults to attend the 50th Annual Westfest in West, Texas. It's located in the community of Ross, which sits off the back roads with quiet neighborhoods, 15 minutes or so from West or Waco in either direction. There were a few oddities in the home with which light switches controlled which light fixtures and fans, but we figured it out fine, and the central AC worked great. The rental property had everything and more that we needed for a short weekend stay, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful.
